The purpose of this Forest Sustainability Knowledge Hub project is to share news, reports and other content on the latest developments in the field of forest sustainability with stakeholders in the forest risk commodity supply chain, to help stakeholders share, build, research and build capacity to enhance the application of sustainable palm oil certified products and other forest-friendly certified products, and ultimately to promote industry development and reduce "deforestation risk".

This issue is the No.02 special issue published in April 2022, which extracts the highly concerned contents from the No.07-09 issue of the monthly newsletter. It paid attention to the Indonesian palm oil export policy and the EU's regulation of deforestation and showed the actions of enterprises related to sustainable palm oil development, including McDonald's, Ferriero, Nestle, and Maybank. It also extracted the relevant research and trends of NGOs such as MPOC and Preferred by Nature.

Issue 11 contains extracts of information on palm oil import and export policies and prices in countries including Indonesia, India and Malaysia, and focuses on the achievements of the Ferrero Sustainable Palm Oil Program. This issue also collects forest sector reports from CDP and FAO, as well as the progress of RSPO and ISPO cooperation in Indonesia. In addition, this issue features a new Industry Perspectives section.

Issue 14 includes excerpts from Indonesia and Malaysia on palm oil import and export policies and prices, as well as Johor Corp’s new initiatives in sustainable investment, corruption cases in the palm oil industry and sustainable development of Nigeria's palm oil industry. This issue also excerpted relevant reports of Greenpeace, 6th RSPO China Forum and a new research result found in Riau, the palm oil capital of Indonesia.

Issue 13 includes excerpts from Indonesia and Malaysia on palm oil import and export policies and prices, as well as Chinese companies investing in Malaysia and the IOI's green trade financing. This issue also discusses RAN's investigation of certain palm oil producers, updates on the SMILE program's getting RSPO certification, and offers the RSPO's perspective on sustainable palm oil supply chains.

Issue 12 summarizes information on palm oil import and export policies as well as prices in those producing countries (i.e., Indonesia, India, and Malaysia), and focuses on Unilever's support for palm oil and fossil fuel biotechnology, as well as GAR's efforts toward sustainability. This issue contains information on the sustainable palm oil workshop co-organized by RSPO and CDP, the most recent CDP forestry report, and RSPO and MPOGCF efforts to meet global sustainability demands.
